How Much is Lifeline Medical Alert

How much is a Philips Lifeline Medical Alert?

Philips Lifeline is a company that makes medical alert systems to ensure and protect the elderly part of the population. They need to live their lives the same as everyone else, but may need extra protection because they are more prone to medical accidents and injuries in their day to day lives. In order for their loved ones to feel better about this risk, they may purchase one of these systems.

Since every family is different in their economic abilities, the medical alert packages provided by Lifeline offer different prices and items encompassed in each, so they can fit the price range and needs of every family.

Philips Lifeline Medical Alert Options

HomeSafe Standard, Landline

The first option provided is the regular HomeSafe medical alert system. This package has the pendant or wristwatch emergency button, and the base station needed for the system to get set up has to be linked to a landline phone number. The prices for this package are $29.95 US dollars for monthly monitoring, a 50 dollar activation fee, and $19.95 for self-installation. Equipment is free.

HomeSafe Standard, Cellular

All items that come with this package are also the same as the first option, (even the required landline phone number) but the AutoAlert fall detection feature is included. This feature is preferred by customers because it ensures that help will be called even if no button was pushed. The prices for this package are $44.95 for monthly monitoring, a 50 dollar activation fee, and $19.95 for self-installation. Equipment is free.

HomeSafe with AutoAlert, Cellular

This package has the same exact features as the HomeSafe with AutoAlert, Landline, but instead of the base station being linked to a landline, customers pay for a cellular connection. Prices for this package include a $58.95 monthly fee for monitoring, a 50 dollar activation fee, and $19.95 for self-installation. Equipment is free.

GoSafe 2

Philips Lifeline GoSafe
Although this package is the most expensive, it includes the most benefits with GPS tracking built-in to the set up so customers can leave the comfort of their own home while still having the protection they need. AutoAlert is included. Prices include a $49.95 monthly fee for monitoring, a 99.95 dollar activation fee, and $19.95 for self-installation. Equipment is unfortunately not free in this package, and is $99.95.

Summary

As demonstrated above, Philips Lifeline offers the variation in prices and items above to fit any family’s needs when it comes to caring for their loved ones. Being informed on what the prices are and what is included with that price is what people should be aware of and be mindful of when picking the right package for their family member in need. Henceforth, whatever makes the whole family comfortable hopefully will make the loved one more comfortable.
